The Fourth Seal. 5/2/2018

For the fourth seal I decided to create a piece that was more contemporary as at that time we were approaching the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One. I also tried to stay true to what was written about this horseman and that in this particular case hell is represented by the mustard gas that slowly approach and overtake the trenches.

"When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a pale horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him."

What is dry mounting? Dry mounting is a process of adhering the art print to a foam core or other stable backing. This prevents wrinkles and creases and prolongs the life of the artwork. It helps protect the art from the ravages of humidity and temperature changes, which may warp the art if not secured.
